Rideau Canal Boardwalk & McKenzie-King Bridge Stairs and Ramp

Location: Rideau Canal at McKenzie Bridge and National Arts Centre, Ottawa ON. / 2007

Client: National Capital Commission

Rideau Canal improvements included new concrete stairs, accessible ramp, decorative metal railings, retaining wall, canal boardwalk resurfacing, bridge downspout and catch basin modifications, recreational pathway, planting beds, canal wall coping, promenade lighting and railing. Further improvements provided canoe access to the canal and winter public access for skating on the heritage waterway.
